This Thursday November 21, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET, we are discussing Driving Safety. For the first time we have a teenager who will be the co-host. Brett Jonas aka @BookSquirt has been a regular participant at #DadChat for several months. After her family had a very stunning experience with a car accident, saving lives from a fiery crash, she felt motivated to take on this important discussion.
Hear and see some of the details of that fateful day from their local television station newscast. And, another one…Scroll down for more on this accident.
And here is a bio of Brett, written by her dad, Jim Jonas:
Brett Jonas is a 16-year-old force to be reckoned with. A veteran of national television and print media, she has been featured with her family on ‘The Doctors’, ‘Teen News’, and the ‘TODAY’ show, as well as in Oprah’s ‘O’ magazine. As the Shipping Manager, her work ethic, dedication to customers, wit, and charm have proven vital to the growth
of her family’s business, Goat Milk Stuff, which produces a variety of handmade goat milk products, including soaps, from the milk of their Alpine dairy goat herd. Brett, a Christian, is the oldest child in her family and has 5 brothers and 2 sisters who look to her for leadership, compassion, and occasionally…dinner, when Mom & Dad are running
behind. In her “spare time” she reads voraciously, rides her bicycle, practices driving, and dreams of returning to the mountain hiking trails of the Appalachians.
I love you and am very proud of you. It’s hard to sum up all of your wonderfulawesomeness in a short paragraph.
