I attended what is perhaps the biggest fitness and nutrition convention around. People from ALL over the country attended. I was surprised by only one thing – how UN-fit so many of the people appeared. Granted “fitness” isn’t just about looking like a bikini model but – PEOPLE – being seriously over-weight is not nutritious or fitness. This seemed to be more apparent among the women attendees who outnumbered the men by about 3 to 1 in my unscientific judgment. I wrote more about this in a lengthier piece but here’s the short video I made at the convention – just for fun.

Park City House Progress and Tour – August, 2014 #Moving
The framing process of building a new home makes the whole process seem very quick. We were blown away by the progress on our future home in Park City but we know that the “finish work” is time-consuming so don’t make plans to visit yet! Projected finish date is next Spring. Can’t wait – we will move summer of 2015.
Moving to Park City – New House Progress
It’s August 2014 and our house is almost fully framed. We visited for a “walk through” to approve things and made further decisions. This “tour” gives you a great overview of the setting and the house. Ya’all come visit, y’hear? For even more of WHY we are moving to Park City, check out THIS video!

Mozeying in Mozambique #Africa #Travel
Mozambique, Africa is and was a very dangerous place when we ported there in December/January. Consequently, we chose to stay on the ship so this is just what we could see from port. Given we went to 13 countries, 22 cities, in 33 days, we didn’t feel deprived on our trip to Africa, India, and the UAE.
Baboon Bazaar and Battling Boars
The baboons were so entertaining. We saw a couple mating, but I wasn’t quick enough to get “that action” but I did get the aftermath and it’s quite amusing.
Impala Island – #Africa #Travel
These impala were so beautiful and amazing to watch. Check out the two males fighting for Alpha position and the female nearby, indifferent.
