Advice & Coaching

Bruce Sallan on the phone

I am available for parenting advice and coaching (or consulting, if you prefer) in two different ways.  First is one-on-one, direct interaction by phone. And the second option is in person, if you live or work in any of the following area codes: 213, 310, 805, 323, or 818 (or you are willing to travel).

My parenting advice, in this fashion, is not in the form of a formally trained therapist, but rather a more direct version in the style of “coaching.” This may include specific suggestions and advice for change and improvement in the home.

As my advice and background is not that of a formally trained therapist, my feedback will likely have a simple “fix it” component and will not require multiple sessions.  "Simple" doesn't mean easy, but as a man and not a therapist, I tend to view problems in the fashion of "there's a problem, now what do we do to solve it" vs. a formally schooled and trained therapist that will ask how you feel about it.  I do not offer traditional therapy; just a sounding board based on years of experience.  If you are interested in more details, please contact me for my rates and any questions.
