Tom Morello put on such an INCREDIBLE show at Outside Lands on August 12, 2012. He sang soft, hard, and everything between. His guitar work was awesome and when he invited the crowd on stage with him to sing his last song, it was beyond belief. When that happened, I was up close. The ground was LITERALLY shaking from that moment forward. I have a steady video hand but the EARTH MOVED and there was nothing I could do but go with the flow. Watch, enjoy, and Thank You, Tom Morello! My apologies for the shakiness of the video…but you will still LOVE IT, I’m sure! What a GREAT moment in music!

Why Don’t Couples Tell the Truth?

A scenario: two couples are going out for dinner together. As each couple is getting ready they have a typical marital fight. It escalates on the drive to meet the other couple at the lovely restaurant they’re going to. When they arrive, they each angrily slam the door on the car and storm into the restaurant. Upon seeing the other couple, happy faces appear, and they end up having a nice evening.

The Evolution of Technology series continues with the record store and vinyl records, aka lps, records.  Going to the record store now seems such a quaint memory, sort of like the Beav going to the soda fountain.  But, vinyl records and record stores were a big part of our lives back in the day!
