Patience at #DadChat

 Patience is a virtue

I hope you can wait until this Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET when we take on the complicated issue of “Patience.” Since this is #DadChat, we are going to approach it largely from a parenting point-of-view. When should we be patient with our kids? Is there ever a time we should be impatient? We are pleased to have Andy Holloman as our co-host for this evening’s #DadChat

Cup of Coffee: It Really is About Communication

Caffeine facts and information

When I grew up there were coffee shops, not places that more or less exclusively served coffee and snacks. Coffee shops were diners and casual restaurants, which often had counters with stools for individuals. There was a local chain of them in our area that my family loved to frequent. Now, it’s fast food and Starbuck’s. But does a cup of coffee mean communication or just a cup ‘o joe while surfing the web, sitting alone, and isolated? Is it just the older retired people who actually meet at the local coffee spot to talk and people watch?

The Canis Lupus Redux – An Awesome Ski Run at Canyons Resort in Utah

The Canis Lupus is a natural half-pipe at Canyons Resort in Utah. Skiing it is a kick beyond belief. The Canis Lupus is a mile-long, curving, amazing chute that is simply awesome and scary as can be. I love it. This particular time, I held my poles in one hand, my iPhone gloveless in the other and did this particular video all in one take. You can clearly hear my excitement along with hearing my son’s singing my radio show theme song. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I did skiing it!
