#Food, #Allergies, and #Eczema at #DadChat with Mei
Do your kids suffer from itching? Lack of sleep? We all know how much food can affect our well-being. Many of us suffer from allergies that are food-related or from other sources. These chronic problems are especially difficult for our children who often are too young to understand the pain and discomforts they feel. For parents, NOTHING is worse than seeing your child in pain (or discomfort). Thursday September 18 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET we will discuss this issue with co-host Marcie Mom aka Mei, our favorite #DadChat regular, from Singapore.
#Golf is Like Eating and #Food
For the second column is this new series about golf, I’m going to explain why golf is like eating and food. It was easy to compare golf to sex and it is equally easy to show its relation to food and eating.
#Food, #Sex, and the Kitchen
It’s often said that the biggest causes of divorce are sex, money, and “the kids.” I would argue that a bigger cause of dissention is food (and the kitchen). In continuing this blog series – and the pre-cursor to a book based on these columns – let’s tackle this divisive issue between men and women!
It’s Family Dinner-Time at #DadChat with #KraftRecipeMakers
The Family Dinner is our topic this Thursday, September 19 at #DadChat from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET, sponsored by Kraft Foods Recipe Makers. I’ve often extolled the virtues of regular family meals and there have been numerous studies showing their positive benefit for the entire family. Today, it seems harder and harder to all “get” together. Kraft is working to make the food part of it easier and we’ll learn about their wonderful new product – Kraft Recipe Makers – while talking among ourselves about the challenges of The Family Dinner at The Family Dinner Table! Anyone interested in winning a $250 Walmart Gift Card?
Instagram Reveals Who We Are
Instagram is one of those new platforms that have been an instant success. Like most new things, I tend to wait and get aboard only when I have to – I’m forced to – or really, when I finally get over my anxiety about learning it. Now, I love using it and I share really important things via the photos I take with my phone. Things such as what I’m eating for breakfast, hundreds of photos of Simon (my dog), and my feet, when I’m napping.

Bruce is Going #Vegan
I’ve been going #Vegan going on six months now. This video and the interviews were done just a few weeks into this new diet, as I was just going #vegan. Since then, I’ve had a second doctor’s visit with equally positive results. HOWEVER, my doc convinced me to add a bit of chicken to my diet as a precaution to be sure I was getting enough protein.
