Today’s radio show is inspired by this week’s “A Dad’s Point-of-View” column, Staying Single is NOT Good for Your Kids, Part Two. Is the choice to stay single a good one? But, as always, we’ll talk about whatever is on our minds!
We read about it all the time – the effects of media on our kids – especially video games. I wrote about Hollywood’s destructive effects recently and Chris Brogan is going to take us through a discussion about Video Games in Parenting this Thursday, October 10 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET. NOT TO BE MISSED!
Writers never know what is going to connect, resonate, please, and/or anger readers. Staying Single (Part One) achieved that. First, I want to declare the reason for the title since that is just one point of anger from my critics. I am a writer. I want readers. I choose titles that are honest to the content of my columns but I also choose ones I think will draw interest. I am no different than ANY television newscast, newspaper, book, or Hollywood. To be quite clear, I am NOT apologizing for my title choice.
I do want to clarify things that were either assumed or misinterpreted as well as share some of the comment “highlights.”
In this edition of the Evolution of Technology blog series, which is co-written by Professor David E. Weber and myself, we take a look at Travel. How we book it, do it, and live it. Without a doubt, travel has undergone incredible changes since I went to Europe using Frommer’s “Europe on $5 and $10 a Day,” when I was 19. And, we did it, too. I’m going to take the first stab at this column, followed Professor David E. Weber who, as I am writing this, is traveling to and from England.
Dad likes to save money…..and our Kickstarter commemorative book fund-raiser project is in its second week. We sure hope you’ll join in – whether it’s to contribute (great “rewards”) or to help get the word out and SHARE THE VIDEO!
