Concert Series: The Goodbye Concert by Refrain
My son Arnie has begun his college career at The Berklee College of Music. His band – Refrain – had a Goodbye Concert this past summer. Enjoy these highlights and see the birth of a star! We’ll ALL look back at this video someday and say, “we knew them when.” But I’m not a biased dad!
I’m TOO Old for #OutsideLands and 65,000 Kids at a Music Festival!
I took my boys to San Francisco to attend the Outside Lands Music Festival this summer. It’s one of those Woodstock-like three-day music extravaganzas. There were several stages strewn around Golden Gate Park and, given today’s sponsorships there were all kinds of companies represented, big and small. Giveaways, prizes, PR of all kinds, and amazing food abounded, along with the unmistakable aroma of weed.
World Wide Rebel Songs – Tom Morello #OutsideLands August, 2012
There’s a shorter, tighter version HERE!
Tom Morello put on such an INCREDIBLE show at Outside Lands on August 12, 2012. He sang soft, hard, and everything between. His guitar work was awesome and when he invited the crowd on stage with him to sing his last song, it was beyond belief. When that happened, I was up close. The ground was LITERALLY shaking from that moment forward. I have a steady video hand but the EARTH MOVED and there was nothing I could do but go with the flow. Watch, enjoy, and Thank You, Tom Morello! My apologies for the shakiness of the video…but you will still LOVE IT, I’m sure! What a GREAT moment in music!
Concert Series: Happy Together – I’m NOT That Dad #27

What songs make you feel more you?
That’s what music is all about, right?
Music has the power to unlock emotions, memories, and consciousness. It allows us to become temporarily aware of parts of ourselves that we do not ordinarily access in our every day routines and chores – especially those parts of ourselves that are deep, strong, and meaningful beyond words.

The Boss: Bruce Springsteen LIVE – I’m NOT That Dad #12
I’ve seen Bruce Springsteen several times, most notably at The Sports Arena back in the day. The aroma in the arena that night was memorable, but more so was the FOUR hours of music. Everyone stood for the whole thing. I’ve never quite got that, but then it was sort of cool when I was younger.
